The harvest of soybeans, sorghum and sunflowers is wrapping up in South Dakota after another week of mild weather.

The U.S. Agriculture Department says in its weekly crop report that more than 90 percent of all three crops is in the bin.

The corn harvest remains delayed, however, with only 58 percent harvested. That compares with the average of 96 percent. Most of the corn crop is rated either good or excellent.

Cattle are rated 89 percent in good to excellent condition, with 90 percent of sheep in those categories.

Feed supplies in South Dakota are rated 95 percent adequate to surplus, and stockwater supplies 92 percent in those categories.
