Beto O'Rourke: Impeach Now "Or Lose Our Democracy Forever" Staff

Wednesday on MSNBc's "Hardball," former Congressman and 2020 presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke told host Chris Matthews that if he were still a member of the House he would vote to impeach President Trump, warning: "Act now or lose our democracy forever."
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Now that Mueller is not going to testify and I don't think they're going to subpoena him. It didn't sound like Jerry Nadler, the Chairman of Judiciary, is in any mood to subpoena the guy. He's a hero to most Americans, not to treat him like a subpoenaed witness. If that's not some reason to hold off on -- what is the -- do you see any justification to put this off? It's now June next week, we're going into summer. The 4th of July's coming. We're going to have the -- the presidential campaign, which you're very much in the middle of, coming in the fall. It'll be the -- you guys will be competing in the Iowa caucuses come this fall.
