As most of our readers know, Illinois was recently forced by a court to stop infringing on 2nd Amendment rights. The state must now allow concealed carry of firearms, and as surprising as it is to those who oppose the right to self defense, gun crime has not increased as a result of it. In fact, there is now evidence to suggest concealed carry is acting as a deterrent for crime.
