Trump “strongly considering” Russia sanctions in bid to end war
President Trump is raising the possibility of raising the pressure on Russia to end its war against Ukraine. Writing on social media, the president said he’s “strongly considering” sanctions and tariffs on Russia in hopes of forcing a settlement to the war in Ukraine. He said such sanctions could remain in place “until a cease fire and final settlement agreement on peace is reached.” The president, who has been reluctant to criticize Russia for its invasion, urged both counties to “get to the table…before it’s too late.”

Will Trump’s Face Appear on the $100 Bill?
A Republican lawmaker is introducing legislation to immortalize President Donald Trump on 100 dollar bills. Correspondent Bernie Bennett has more on the story.
VERBATIM:
Congressman Brandon Gill of Texas said that he plans to introduce a bill to feature President Trump’s likeness on the $100 note once his current term concludes.
Gill sait in an interview, “President Trump could be enjoying his golden years golfing and spending time with his family. Instead, he took a bullet for this country and is now working overtime to secure our border, fix our uneven trade relationship with the rest of the world, make America energy independent again, and put America first by ending useless foreign aid.”
Gill says replacing Benjamin Franklin with Trump on the $100 bill “is a small way to honor all he will accomplish these next four years.”

The state of Washington may vote on an abortion amendment
The state of Washington may vote on an abortion amendment
VERBATIM: Democrats have introduced a measure that would enshrine both abortion in the state constitution as well as a right to a sex-change operation. In order for the amendment to be placed before a vote of the people, it will have to pass both chambers of the Washington legislature by a two-thirds margin. Observers say it’s going to be a big lift for Democrats — they don’t currently have the votes and would have to convince several Republicans to vote with them. MH SRNN NEWS.
