John Miller, the former CBS News correspondent whose career has ping-ponged between media and law enforcement, has been tapped to lead the New York Police Department's counter-terrorism efforts, Commissioner Bill Bratton announced Thursday. “He will be working closely with the intelligence entities in the department,” Bratton said. “But he will be more than that. He will also be one of my key advisers in many respects.”
