Obama administration: 'No change in US policy' on amnesty for Edward Snowden

The Obama administration Monday threw cold water on the idea of granting National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden amnesty in exchange for his massive collection of sensitive U.S. secrets. “There's been no change in U.S. policy on this issue,” National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said. “Mr. Snowden is charged with a felony and he should return home to face those charges, where he will be afforded all due process.”
