NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Florida - A Ku Klux Klan group apparently did not do its research or it has completely revamped its message. The group passed out recruiting fliers in a predominantly black neighborhood in New Smyrna Beach earlier this week.
The flier reads, "Our race is our nation," and shows a man dressed in the distinctive KKK robe and hood.
Officials say the fliers originated form a chapter in North Carolina and were sent to Florida in an effort to recruit new members.
