The server that hosted WikiLeaks as they received thousands of leaked diplomatic cables went up for sale Monday on eBay. As of Tuesday afternoon bidding stands at $3,050.

The seller is Bahnof, a Swedish internet company which rented out the server to WikiLeaks. Describing the Dell Poweredge R410 server as "the notorious physical server that changed the world," Bahnof said in a news release that the company put the server on a pedestal for some time and "displayed it as a museum item in our underground Thule Brunkow Ridge data center in central Stockholm, as a symbol for our values as a hoster and ISP."
