Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee approached Barr after the hearing adjourned and chatted with him for about a minute.
wow. I think I can count only a handful of times that the Democrats actually let the attorney general speak today.
After being accused by Rep. Escobar of failing to uphold his oath of office, Barr says, "my loyalty is to the Constitution."
Rep. Mike Johnson outraged that his colleague just accused the White House of committing murder and asks for it to be stricken from the record.
Discussing COVID, Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell looks at Barr and says, "I believe the Trump admin are letting people die needlessly."
That was so embarrassing. Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) is trying to catch Barr in a gotcha moment, but doesn't even know what DOJ policy she's asking about.
He rightfully laughs.
Nadler relented and gave Barr his break. We're back now.
Barr: "Mr. Chairman, can I take a 5-minute break?"
Nadler: "No."
Barr: "I waited an hour for you this morning."
Did MSNBC producers write all of these question from the Democrats ... they're insane
Wowww.
"I'm going to answer the damn question."Do these hysterical Democrat crybabies want a hearing or not?Answer: no. But at least they could get a little bit better at scoring political points. This is just sad pic.twitter.com/QXP7HoxSuO

I mean, that Dem Congresswoman pretty much accused Barr of being complicit in murder if he doesn't do what *she* wants him to do re ACA and health care.
Utterly unhinged.
Rep. Greg Stanton (D-AZ) suggests that Barr is "a fixer at the DOJ."
This hearing is pretty good bolshevik theater. Just sayin'
Jim Jordan asks Nadler: "You brought him here. Why don't you let him speak? Why don't you let him answer the questions?"
That exchange was absurd. ACA has nothing to do with DOJ. These Dems just scream and scream ... this hearing is becoming a worthless exercise.
Dems refusing the let Barr speak because they know he can easily shred their weak sauce arguments
Barr: "I'm the lawyer. I am not in charge of health care policy."
Barr starts to explain that he has two children who recovered from cancer and that the issue of health care is very important to him, but is cut off by Rep. McBath.
Rep. McBath asks Barr: If Trump has no other plan in place by October, you will drop your position that the ACA must fall.
Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA) asking about the ACA
Rep. Neguse and AG Barr now SCREAMING at each other.
