Kucinich continues flirt with changing districts to stay in Congress

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) will attend a fundraiser in Shoreline, Wash., on Sunday, a move that will bolster the idea he is seriously thinking about switching congressional districts.

The event, entitled "Pancakes, Coffee and Congressman Kucinich," describes Kucinich as a "special guest." Proceeds from the breakfast, which costs $25 per head, will benefit the 32nd Legislative District Democrats organization.

Ohio is losing two congressional seats in the redistricting process, and Kucinich's is likely on the chopping block. If that happens he could end up drawn into a district with Rep. Betty Sutton (D-Ohio) or find himself having to run against Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) to remain an Ohio lawmaker.

Earlier this month, Kucinich confirmed that he was indeed considering districts in other states in order to stay in Congress.
