Noah responds to PETA!

Hi Mike. Noah here. I have been reading your recent exchange with the terrorist organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). My good friend Moses accurately recorded my conversation with God in Genesis 9, which says:

?God blessed Noah and his sons: He said, ?Prosper! Reproduce! Fill the Earth! Every living creature - birds, animals, fish ? will fall under your spell and be afraid of you. You?re responsible for them. All living creatures are yours for food; just as I gave you the plants, now I give you everything else. Except for meat with its lifeblood still in it ? don?t eat that. But your own lifeblood I will avenge; I will avenge it against both animals and other humans. Whoever sheds human blood, by humans let his blood be shed. Because God made humans in his image reflecting God?s very nature. You?re here to bear fruit, reproduce, lavish life on the Earth, live bountifully.??

You should listen carefully to everything Moses says because he was able to list the exact order of the emergence of all major forms of life in the first chapter of Genesis. That was long before science came about. In fact, it was written over 3000 years before the birth of Darwin, the man that is worshipped more than any other in America.

But be careful before you respond to the spokeswoman for PETA. She has included a lot of factually incorrect information about anatomy in her letter to you. For example, every serious scientist knows that our tooth structure proves conclusively that we are omnivores, just like it says in Genesis 9.

Instead of focusing on minor points, you should address her main thesis. That thesis seems to reflect a desire to eliminate any form of pain felt by any organism at any time in our universe. But that grand goal cannot be squared with this otherwise bright woman?s silence on the issue of abortion.

Back when Dr. Bernard Nathanson released the Silent Scream in the 1980s, ultrasound technology was beginning to show that the fetus does, in fact, feel pain during the process of abortion. Of course, groups like Planned Parenthood tried to denigrate Nathanson and his film after its release. But that is becoming more difficult to do as technology improves.

I know that you have recently had an opportunity to watch films of the unborn, which show that they do have developed central nervous systems and that they do feel the pain of abortion. Your courts have not denied this. They simply say that a woman?s right to choose overrides the pain that the fetus feels.  Of course, most PETA members side with the woman?s right to be free from inconvenience over the fetus? right to be free from pain.

PETA?s members clearly see the human fetus as a lower form of life than chickens, dogs, mice, and rabbits.

This position is hard to comprehend as you watch an unborn baby via ultrasound. To see them yawn and rub their eyes and playfully move about in the womb is to see the work of God inside a human sanctuary. It is a place that should be free from the abortionist?s instruments. It is a place where God?s will, not the will of man, should be allowed to run its course.

This whole issue really revolves around your worldview. I am sure that you know how important worldview is because I saw that you recently endorsed Nancy Pearcey?s wonderful new book (link to ?Total Truth?). It all comes down to whether you worship God, or whether you worship yourself. You know that it is better to follow the Scriptures than to follow your own personal feelings. The latter are prone to error, the former are not.

Well, Mike, I?ll see you in a few years from now. I hope that you enjoy your deer hunting trip with Doug Giles in October. And stop whining about all of the hurricanes in Wilmington. The rain is nothing compared to the time when?. Well, never mind, I?m sure you know the whole story.

Mike Adams is the host of He isn?t finished with PETA yet.

Note: Because John is, in fact, a real person, Dr. Adams will post his entire response to PETA on his website next week.
