The RGA offers its 2010 closing argument in the form of another slick, quasi-dystopian web video. Strap it in for a cyclone of gripping imagery, dramatic music, exceptionally high production value, and a coterie of high-profile GOP pols:
What's your verdict: Effective, or overwrought? Be honest: If this were a movie trailer, you'd queue up outside the cinema on opening night to see the film, wouldn't you?
UPDATE: Upon a second viewing, I must say I appreciate a few of the fleeting Easter Eggs embedded within the video: Galloping horses. Joy Behar. Golfer-in-chief footage. The presentation is pretty masterful. It made me want to go out and vote again -- which is no longer an option, now that I've left Chicago.
