New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill wants this illegal alien voter incident to end. You sort of don’t get that done when you tell the Justice Department to take a hike. The Garden State has become the epicenter of election integrity followers because some 6,600 illegals were found on the voter rolls, and some 400 had voted in past elections. Sherrill told the Trump DOJ that it wouldn’t be disclosing any more information about these people, calling them New Jersey citizens. Well, Harmeet Dhillon, the assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division, had a great response.
They’ll get the information anyway. They don’t need your permission, Mikie. There’s also no way there are only 6,600 illegal alien voters on the rolls. Some 278,000 were found in New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. There’s something fishy here—you all know it. Still, some governors telling the DOJ, which has unlimited resources and multiple intelligence capabilities, they’re not cooperating, should be met with a shrug.

It’s not the first time Dhillon and Sherrill have sparred (via Fox News):
"When the president came out with his Primetime speech last Thursday, I believe in the sequencing of events that has been laid out, she already knew that this revelation was forthcoming," Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said.
"She knew it, and she still went online and called the president a liar and said he was exaggerating – Shame on you, governor."
Dhillon said governors willing to cooperate with the DOJ would receive assistance but warned states refusing to do so could face lawsuits.
"It's a bipartisan problem, actually. And I'm really looking forward to helping everyone who will work with us fix this problem. And if they won't work with, we'll sue them and we'll still fix the problem."
The Trump administration is trying to secure the final say in its favor on an executive order that mandates that the USPS will only send federal mail-in ballots after states have turned over their voter rolls for review. Guess which states are upset about that.
