Point-Counter Point on Claimed Attack on Judicial Independence by Not Funding Senior Judges Program

The Senior Status Judges Program continues to be a political football for the law commentators in Kentucky, and apparently a political football according to Retired (and former Senior Status Judge Stan Billingsley at www.Lawreader.com). Before I could weigh in with my continued comments and concerns raised in Stan Billingsley's post, the law blog - Musings of a Bluegrass Barrister - jumped into the fray and addressed many of my concerns with the Billingsley Post.
