I think the PLO's plans to assassinate King Hussein may make them a little less than welcome. Not to mention that failed al Qaida chemical attack a few years back. (Using chemical from Syria, which could not POSSIBLY have come from Iraq... nope, no way...)

As the Palestinians are generally kindly disposed toward Al Qaida, that will probably cool Jordan toward letting them in as well.

And Egypt is barricading the Gaza border even more than Israel, to prevent unauthorized crossings.

Seems no one wants the Palestinians.

Israel won't fare well under most Democrats. There are a few Republicans I wouldn't trust much either, but I can think of only a handful of Democrats who I would trust, if that many.
