Thank you, Kevin!
Thank you, Kevin, for taking the time to read my blog. It's not so much that I'm against Democrats; I'm just tired of do-nothing politicians! They get into office one day and start campaigning for their next term by day two! Pathetic. Just think what this country would have been like if the folks working on our independence had acted like the foolish people we have in control now!

Madame Speaker
Oh yes, Madame Speaker goes on a book tour, tells the world that she is third in line, and thumbs her nose at the American people.
I live in the state of CA and not in her district. Thank you! I wish she would get her bootie voted out this November. It would be a great moment.
As for the "Do Nothing Congress", it is getting ridiculous. Lets sit on our hands and bash the President for everything under the sun. That is the one thing they seem to do very well.

Sue, That's the Truth!
Sue, I couldn't agree with you more. Since before Bush got into office, he has been bashed, battered, beaten and bullied! He had two seconds of glory when he answered the voice in the crowd after the towers went down and that has been it.
If he talks, he talks too much; if he guards our country's secrets, then he doesn't speak enough. If he stands strong, it's cowboy politics and if he waivers for a second, he's too dumb and weak to lead.
Yet, with all the vileness surrounding him and his lovely wife, he will leave the White House looking a whole lot better than his predecessor and his wife will always be remembered as a true First LADY.
Both Barbara Bush and Laura Bush showed a strength I envy and admire. Even when their husbands were being reviled, they held their tempers and retained their beauty.
And through everything, our current Congress has proven how juvenile and fruitless they can be. I think out of the whole group, maybe one or two is worth holding on to, but I'd be hard-pressed to come up with names!
Keep spreading the word - We want leaders, not overgrown teens.
By the way, did you hear our lovely Maxine Waters wants to Nationalize the gas companies? That's just downright scarey! She stumbled over the term, finally coming up with 'let the government run it.' To Ms. Waters, may I suggest she live in a country where the government runs everything before deciding we should have such a program put in place. I really don't think she'd like it.

Waters needs to go. I heard the word on the street is that she may not run again. Wow, wouldn't that be nice. I saw her spectacular performance on "nationalizing" big bad oil. She needs to go.
Feinstein and Boxer - times up, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
As for Pelosi, I am so tired of her bashing President Bush. And what is up with the third in line quote? Is she planning a coup against President Bush and President Cheney? She is so disrespectful and I am so tired of it. Between her and Reid they act like little kids. Lets see how mean we can be to Bush.
I am with you on President Bush. He got his whopping two seconds of glory in New York. That was it.
I give credit to Laura Bush and Barbara Bush. It must be so hard to show such class when their husbands are being bashed.
I do not hang my head in shame when people ask me who I voted for. I voted for Bush twice. I have had a pretty good life in the years that he has been in office. And I have been kept safe.

Enough of this. A Bush admiration group? And I wasn't invited?
George W. will be remembered as the most effective president since Reagan when the economy, our foreign policy, and integrity in office is considered. Everyone claims he is stupid and a liar. He is neither. Just look at Laura for proof. Do you honestly believe that saint of a woman would marry and stay married to a stupid liar?
I rest my case.
As far as Ms. Polio, errr... Pelosi is concerned, she isn't. At least not about us. She made a comment during her last campaign that the republicans may have won the WH and the majority in congress in 2000, but, if elected, she would implement rules to keep that from ever happening again.
Miss Nancy Adolf Lenin, the Reichmachenfuhrer, is in control. RUN FOR THE POLLING BOOTHS and vote them ALL out.
Great post Margie. Keep 'em coming.

But you're always welcomed here. Sue, yes, Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Reid would love nothing better than to roust the President and Vice President. Since their choice went the way of impeachment, they are frothing at the mouth to do the same to President Bush and VP Cheney. That would be their dream come true.
As to Ms. Waters, if she chooses not to run, it can only be construed as a good thing. She's much too full of hate and anger for my taste.
I truly do not hate anyone in either party, but I deeply resent those who continue trying to turn this country into a socialist nation. I like our capitalism and the fact that ANYONE who has the determination and imagination can succeed.

Did you hear that Feinstein is not going to the convention because she broke her ankle.
Waters is out there. She is so angry, "bitter", and just full of nastiness. And so many of them are and quite frankly I don't understand that. I don't "hate" anyone myself. I laugh at them and get frustrated with them, but no hate here.
As for impeaching President Bush, get over it. That is so ridiculous. Move on. Try working on something that really matters. Get to work Pelosi and company. Wait, do they even know how to work?
To be honest I am not even sure what the Dems want to turn our country into. A big Hollywood party? I have reached my limit with all of the Hollywood people. I don't care what Clooney/Damon/Affleck think. Keep making your bad movies and keep your mouths shut. They are a really negative/nasty bunch.

American vs. Anti-
One of the things that bothers me about the Hollywood crowd (other than the fact their opinion actually does change some minds) is that they can speak against their president, their country and embrace dictators without anyone questioning them.
But if we do try to call them on it, then we are effectively called every name in the book and accused of saying they aren't patriots.
Free speech seems to be a one-way street on which we aren't allowed to drive.
Our party is accused of racism, but everyone seems to forget it was the Republican party that fought for all races to be able to vote.
Women in power can revile our party, but woe unto the Republican who speaks truthfully about a powerful woman and has something to say that isn't complimentary! Then she goes for the victim vote.
If we don't have two-way communication, then we have a dictatorship. Does anyone remember electing a dictator recently?

Great points. These Hollywood people go and meet with dictators of countries that do not like us and we are supposed to bow down to them and just say, "Wow." It is scary that people do believe what they say. And I am so tired of them bashing President Bush. What a display of disrespect. And they all think that it is okay.
But as you say, free speech seems to be a one way street and only becomes a two way street when they allow us.
As for the racism, that has gotten out of control. I have been called a racist for not wanting to support Obama. I do not care what color he is, I do not believe in anything he has to say. And speaking of him and what he says, he has gotten a free pass for all of his offensive comments. And if that had been any other candidate, they would have gone down so fast!

To Vote or Not to Vote for Obama
Obama does have charisma, but if I don't trust the folks he hangs around with, then I have a real problem trusting his judgement. If he had just one person in his past who condemns the country he wants to run, I could give him a pass, but his life seems filled with them.
I believe he has neither the experience to run our country or a realistic view of our enemies. And once again, he's a candidate who thinks socialism is the right track in his tax the rich and take all responsibility away from the average Joe.
But the thing that puts me off the most is his ever-growing list of hands-off subjects. His wife has never been proud of her country until he ran for president, but don't say anything about it. Don't use his full name and the latest no-no is do not comment on his ears! Does anyone remember seeing the editorial comics about the President? I believe they show him with enormous ears and he hasn't felt it worth a moment of his time to condemn them for it. But then he has important things on his mind.
Sadly, however, I'm not overly thrilled with McCain either. He has too many left-leaning ideas, even to the point of considering a pro-abortion VP candidate. Would love to have a candidate who holds Republican views dear, but don't see many on the horizon.

Obama
I have a lot of issues with Obama and not only the people that he is associated with. I find a lot of his comments very offensive and of course the MSM has given him a free pass from day one.
As you said, maybe one or two of his associates/friends, but there are a lot of them and this does bring his judgment into question.
I do not believe he has the experience to run the country nor to be in the Senate. He has been in the Senate for 3 years and has spent the last 2 running for President. Not only do I think that we should have term limits for Congress, I also believe that if you are going to run for President and you are not the sitting President, then you need to resign our job, whether it be Governor, Senator, etc...
He does have a long list of hands-off subjects. One minute he does not want his children out front, then they are on the cover of People, US, etc...
The difference that I do see in McCain verus Obama is that McCain really does love this country. Obama is so negative and to me that is strange because he has had a lot of great opportunities.

McCain, the Patriot
McCain definitely has a love affair with America and that is why I'm voting for him this term.
Obama is like the Clintons - stay away from my children until they can be an asset. How often did Chelsea disappear into the woodwork only to be brought front and center when they needed 'a warm, fuzzy moment'?
I don't recall the Bushes dragging their kids out to make things all better; they also didn't hold long conferences when their child got in trouble. They took care of the problem as quietly as possible and kept their children's lives private as much as the press would allow.
As for term limits, if Congress didn't have charge of what gets voted on, I believe two terms would be all anyone would get. Wait a minute? Did I say Congress has control?
Not so, folks! The American people have control every time they go to the polls to vote. There isn't one politician who could have more than ONE term if we didn't hand it to them with our votes.
So stop settling for the same old thing! If you really want change - not the politician's version, but real change, keep voting the beggars out until we get someone who understands - America belongs to the people!
God Bless America and Her Freedom to Vote!

McCain versus Obama
There really is a true difference in the love of country by the two candidates. McCain does love his country. It seems Obama is not thrilled with the country and continues to talk negative. I am not sure why he thinks this is going to get him some votes.
But negative seems to be the way to go. Look at Pelosi, she is always demeaning President Bush every chance she gets. And today I saw how Harry Reid came out and said that he does not like McCain at all.
Apparently the Dems have an unusual definition for the world unity and also respect.
I just hope come this November people stop leaning toward the incumbants and start voting these people out.

Unity is a Dirty Word
At least that's how the Democrats seem to see it. Before President Bush actually took office, he tried to bring the two parties together, by inviting Kennedy and others to talk over the trials of the country. For his trouble, he's been maligned every day since. They stuck him with vile names while he attempted to work with them.
One of the worst cases of Democratic 'unity' I've ever seen is when Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush were invited to a Democratic gathering. Hillary was welcomed and swooned over, while the lovely Laura Bush was pushed aside as though she couldn't possibly be part of the group. Thank goodness, she proved she could NEVER be part of such a sanctimonious, viperous crowd of women!
Unity for the Democrats is 'do it their way or not at all'. If you try a different path, they set roadblocks like refusing to call for a vote. Nancy P. knows how to do that so well.
The only hands across the aisle, with the exception of Joe Lieberman, have been the Republicans. On the other side of the aisle, the Democrats sneer and turn their backs. Yes sir, they show unity at its best!

Pelosi said awhile back that she was going to reach across the aisle. The only reaching she did was with claws.
Laura Bush has more class than Hillary Clinton will ever have. That may sound mean, but true. I look at Laura Bush and I see a very nice, respectful, but tough lady. And most of all, I trust what she says.
Over the last few months the do nothing Congress has been so negative (the Dems) with their do nothing attitude. Since Pelosi became Speaker of the House, there game is to go against President Bush on everything. Even if they may agree. The entire fiasco since Pelosi took over is a bunch of school kids and the Dems play bully over and over again.

Nancy Reaching Across the Aisle
Nancy DOES reach across the aisle, but it's normally to slap down anyone who offends her senses. Once she has swatted the opposition, her next move is to run to the nearest microphone for a press conference with buddy Reid. (By the way, do they come as a set - like salt and pepper? He's usually glued to her at the mike although he is conspicuous in his absence on her book tour.)
However, to have bullies on the playground, you have to have kids willing to put up with the bullying and willing to hand over their lunch money. That's the position the Republicans have taken the last sixteen years. They keep thinking if they just agree with the Dems, then the bullies will back off. They obviously haven't seen the movie where the bullies LIKE collecting lunch money and have no intention of changing their ways.
