Senator Feinstein Responds: Iraq

Isn't it ironic that the Democratic party continually repeats that we did not have enough troops on the ground in Iraq in the beginning, but now wants to bring them home before all is stable? Doesn't it make sense that as soon as we start to withdraw our forces, that the insurgents will ramp up their attacks against the Iraqi government as well as against their own people? Maybe I'm just a pessimist in thinking that all heck will break loose if we leave too soon. But it would certainly be better to stay and finish than to have to return and start over. That would be sending the wrong message to our enemys and be disrespectfull of our service men and women who have died fullfilling this mission.
