Something tells me that we won't see Russ Feingold and Chuck Schumer grill the next Supreme Court candidate about his stance on the application of the equal protection clause of the 14A automatically conveying citizenship to those born to illegals.

It does make you wonder, if it was a court interpretation of the 1866 Civil Rights Act that created the precedent granting citizenship, why doesn't Congress pass legislation prohibiting such automatic citizenship?
