Joe Lieberman was thrown under the bus by the Democrats because he had the integrity to stand up for what he believes in. The moment that he did not disavow his Iraq vote and fall in line with the cut-n-run crowd he was dead meat! The nutroots got him, but I still think the Senate seat is his. Just because the Kos-crowd won a primary does not mean they can win a general election...just ask Howard Dean!
