Mission Accomplished: The Wages of Anti-Americanism

An extensive historical account and analysis of who, how, and what kind of achievements and inklings get rewarded by the Nobel Peace Prize Committee is to be found in:

It does not bode well for the United States that the Oval Office is celebrating the Award. BHO's bluster as the President of the World holds sway over any consideration of our national interest. What's being celebrated is the Committee defining the rules of engagement that the Oval Office adheres to in interantional relations. Idealistic Internationalism reigns supreme under Obama.

We Are Lucky if only for Hope and Hype

If the Nobel Peace Prize to the POTUS were only for Hope and Hype, then we can breathe easier and dismiss it as one misguided Norwegian joke on America.

I submit to you that it is less benign than a joke and more sinister and malicious in intent: that is to declaw America, at least for the duration of the Obama Administration. What with the POTUS continuing buzz about unilateral disarmament, the Prize is an attempt to leverage the rules of engagements that America adheres to in international relations.

The message is: a pacifist you aspire to be, a pacifist you shall remain, and we even bribe you for it.
