Was the World Created in Six Literal Days?

Yes he did, and on day 7

He rested. Just like I believe he parted the red sea, Jonah got swallowed by a whale, David killed Goliath, Jesus died and ressurected for our sins, and that God destroyed Sodom for homosexuality etc. It's true based on our faith. Faith is the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 13). No evidence required because it is based on faith!

Sandra

Actually Sandra, there is a great deal of evidence for reliability of the Bible. The Bible writers defined "faith" as obedience. They did not intend for people to follow something that was not true or that they couldn't find out to be true.

The witness of the Holy Spirit was listed by John as a reason to be sure of Christ. This was a genuine experience with God, not a blind leap in the dark.

The historical reliability of the resurrection was lister by Paul as a reason. (1 Cor 15)
