It's Not the Economy

all that is true

yet all that is reported is that housing sales are down, ceo salaries are up, poverty still exists, there is a crisis in health coverage, etc...There is a desire in the media to create a perception, this is nearly indisputable. The way to see this in action is to see how they report a story. They don't lead with: "Unemployment remains at a low 4.4%. Meanwhile, real wages are up by 1.8% over February." No they say "Experts predict Housing market may drive recession" and "Gas prices raise another 14 cents a gallon fueling fears of a recession". Whose fears? Experts connected to liberal think tanks who have a stake in the economy tanking so they can blame Bush. Its intended to be a self perpetuating cycle that can give them the recession they want.

economic woes

Ah yes, the dreaded economy. Taking a regular nosedive, isn't it? All that unemployment, inflation and crashing stocks must be what the libs are whining about day in and day out.

Know what I think?

It all goes back to global warming! If we'd just all buy Ethanol shoeboxes instead of those dirty, innefficient, environmentally-desecrating machines we know as CARS, then the stock market would pick up, inflation would drop (from the record lows it has already reached), and Scooter Libby would get his job back!

Oh wait...strike that. That's one unemployment we're supposed to enjoy.

P.S. I don't know anyone else who can rant so beautifully about the idiocy of Charlie Crist. This wouldn't happen to be Ian Hanchett's blog, would it? ; )
