Winning without Fighting

Wishing without acepting

The blog article winning without fighting is an ideal that isn't fitting with reality. The "uncivil" remain in view of all the preaching that has happened. Why not accept the fact that many are not willing to accept any facts and let the way of foolishness destroy all who follow it. Keeping your own peace is more important than keeping everyone elses. And all men teach rules but who can follow their own. Talk to ya later jroger.

Following Rules I Believe...in Reality

I don't agree. Yes, some perhaps even many enemies must be destroyed to protect ourselves. Some opponents will fight dirty, but if we join them in the dirt, we may lose more than we gain. Many hold opinions without facts, logic, or substance, but treating them disrespectfully will not change their beliefs. Civil reasoning will reach some, and they are the ones we need to reach.
I live in the real world where conflict has bit me in the butt; I have no illusions about how it may cause pain or destruction. Treating people well allows me to keep my own peace and self-respect and possibly win a few to my way of thinking. That's how the war will be truly won!
