accurately assessed what is going to happen. It's unfortunate, but the dems don't ever seem to be able to anticipate unintended consequences. I recognize that if consequences are anticipated, then it follows that they are not unintended. The point is, they can't see past the end of their nose and don't even try to anticipate what ELSE might happen.(I'm giving myself a headache). Good post.

Nice analysis...sad but true.
I posted a different twist on this very notion, as KY has imposed a stiff tax on alcohol and cigs, only to see alcohol sales drop 55%. And lawmakers were surprised to see a drop in revenues.
Go figure.
