I wouldn't want to imply a racial element. Aside from being crude, it's apparently illegal to be racist and conservative these days, as the arrest of the white supremacist who dislikes judicial activism proves.

As it stands, the perpetrators, and some of the arresting personnel, were black. The attorney who made the decision is unknown.

How's the store supposed to "ring up" what's hidden in the purse? Isn't that the whole POINT of shoplifting laws? That people are sneaking stuff out of stores? Why would the store "ring up" her merchandise, then let her pick up the bag full of stuff and take it out of the store without paying for it? Does anyone there have even one functioning brain cell left?
