A Reminder of What's Important

Thanks for this post.

Freedom is not free, and this brave hero has shown he understands the consequences of losing, and is willing to pay the price.

He knows the truth of what is happening over there, and those of us who also know, are as incensed by Cindy Sheehan's anti America rhetoric as he is. Her son is a hero despite her treason.

The statement "for those who have fought for it freedom has a taste the protected will never know"...tells the story of the brave.

If those on the Left and the media win the battle here at home, we may indeed experience the unthinkable...the possibility of not tasting the taste of freedom...

May God bless SJT Walter J. Rausch, his platoon, the 101st Airborne, and all who fight for the great cause of freedom, and God bless our president, and the United States of America. May she ever be free.

It may not be fair

and God knows I try to be but the moment some one starts downplaying what our troops have done, his/her credibility to me, takes a nose dive.

And the Iraqis...Sheila can you imagine AMERICANS daring the lost of life and limb to vote (with purple fingered "evidence" no less)? Our people can't even give up a couple of hours on a Saturday to vote in the primary or a full day even though many get paid in the general.

Such courage and these are the people that make our soldiers feel ten feet tall...then our soldiers come home to a nation that tells them that such courage should be rewarded by betrayal and that their sacrifice was for nothing.

The Liberals and the Isolationist absolutist make me sick.

It is really a sad day

in America...the socialists have pretty much ruined our country...and some on our side think it's a good idea to let 'em keep on keepin' on.

Our troops and those brave Iraqi souls who risked their lives to vote don't deserve what they're getting from the socialists...

God Bless Them

I'm moved every single time I see someone in town wearing a uniform. I'll never take them for granted or fail to be grateful. The thought of the Democrats and the Media doing so always makes me angry. The Next Greatest Generation? The first one didn't have the domestic enemies this one does. Thanks for the post Sanity/Snooper!

I've posed the 3rd party question at my site, I'd appreciate your views.

Been at your blog

but have opt to answer here because all you'll get is a pi$$ing contest if I start commenting, not an intellectual exchange. It's why I've opt not to go to Sandra's or Sheila's blog.

For some reason, Brian and his minions do not get that I really, honest to God, do not have time to play their silly games. I take much too much out of my down time to do this as it is (at least according to my family.) And just from the replies and how long it took you to make Scottie understand that you weren't me and answer the question shows that I'm right.

About your question:

I have difficulty voting for Zell or Joe because I truly believe that the GOP is the only hope for America...not just because of the WOT...but because of the courts and the economy.

But if it was between Joe or Kerry no question, Joe would get my vote because sometimes it's just as important to vote AGAINST someone as it is for someone. Kerry is a traitor--and I do not say that lightly.

Btw, I do not care for Rudy...but I will vote for him rather than Queen Hill or Obama...and between the latter two...Queen Hill because she can be controlled by polls...Obama is an idealogue Liberal and dangerous.

I appreciate talking to people who get it. It does take work sometimes to get people to focus on ideas instead of emotions. I also appreciate your taking the time to exchange your views with me, I think you're a clear thinking individual with a lot of insight. You just have that knack of pushing people's buttons with a sledgehammer, without really trying. I look forward to your next post.

Sanity

Looks like you and Davecatbone are on the top five! Congratulations!

Interesting comments here...:)

Btw,can't wait for our side to debate tomorrow night...it will be VERY clear which party has the brains, and independent thought, the best ideas after the robots on the left did their debate...our guys are going to make the dems look like the fools they are...woo hoo!

We'll show 'em!

Hey Sheila...how do they figure this?

Well it looks like so are you and Pep...but the top ten blogs have snooper and jevica...none of us...so what is this list and how does this work exactly?

If it's comments...well you do realize that I could go on yours and your sister's and just being there would cause such a ruckus that you'd shoot right to the top...lol, no I detest wasting time on useless fighting.

Top Ten

I don't get it either, some of the sites have messages that they are no longer posting.

Sanity,Dave

Never have figured out how the top ten works...think it's # of blogs posted, and traffic, but not sure.

Top five is always number of comments and or forwards:)

Hey are you watching the debate tonight? I couldn't believe it when I heard that Chris Mathews will be the moderator...

Talk about a "hack"...he used to work for the dems, and isn't even a newscaster! What a crock. The dems wouldn't even let Chris Wallace queston them because he was on Fox, but we've got a dem hack moderating our side...go figure.

I missed most of the debate

because Hawaii is about 6 hours behind.

What did you think of the debate and who impressed you?

The Debate

I watched some, and will view the tape entirely tonight.

MSNBC asked all the moonbat questions, and to their credit, the candidates handled them well. Especially the Libbey pardon question. Romney did suprisingly well, McCain actually is improving, Hunter was great, in fact all except Gilmore and Paul seemed to do well. I feel better about the field now, it's the MSM spin about the whole thing that disgusts me. Keith Olberman? Come on, you've got to be kidding. The immigration thing and abortion seem to be targeted as the wedge issues. Seems to me, I've heard mention of that somewhere else around here? :)
