I was never an Imus fan, but not too long before he got the "boot" I happened to see an interview Imus did with Chuckie Schumer.

After Chuckie claimed how heart felt the dems supported the troops, Imus asked Chuckie how many times he'd been to Walter Reed to visit the troops.

After squirming a lot, Chuckie finally admitted that he'd NEVER been to Walter Reed to visit our troops.

Imus was brilliant! He held Chuckie's feet to the fire until you could smell flesh burning :-)!

O'Reilly, Hannity, and even the idiot Russert, could have taken a lesson in journalism from Imus that day! Even I was impressed with Imus!

The Navy Memorial has been defaced? This sailor is officially MIFFED!

I've never been to the Navy Memorial, but plan to at least once during my retardment, er...retirement tour here in PA.

I think what you are doing is great! If I were in a position to be there, I would. (Kinda broke, live in UT and have a nursing newborn and a toddler.) But I hope anyone who is able to do so will go and show their support. I wish you the best!

I saw this protest/counter protest a few months ago on FOX News. You guys rocked! I couldn't believe that one stupid girl who was part of a "die-in" saying that our troops died for nothing. Troops giving their lives guaranteed that she still spends another cozy semester at college and even have a right to protest, stupid sk@nk.
Get this, on Veteran's Day the small town where I work dedicated a very nice memorial to all the veterans in town. There was a big ceremony and everything. The next day a bunch of punk kids who think their in a gang spray painted their "logo" on the memorial. While the paint was quickly washed off everybody was still very upset. Hopefully we find these punks and punish them to the full extent of the law.
