Even if Obama raises taxes on the rich to where he says he will, the very wealthy will still pay lower taxes overall than they did under Clinton, and most of them will pay lower taxes overall than they did under most of Reagan's presidency.

So how does the Obama tax plan mark a sudden return to socialism? Was the US socialist under Reagan and Clinton?
