Good post, thank you for the humor. I cannot get through one Thomas Friedman article without seeing stars. Of course, he is the favorite "economist" of the lefties, my hear husband included. I asked DH to perhaps read more from other distinguished economists such as Sowell or Williams, and he had not taken me up on the matter. Seems good ole Friedman is sufficient enough for them.

I used to be a fan of Thomas Friedman, but his one-note diatribes are getting quite boring. I never really considered him an economist, more of a political commentator who poses as a liberal economist.

Paul Krugman is the resident economist on the NYTimes Op Ed pages, whose 'economic' columns are dripping with Left Wing politics. And, he was just awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics! I just lost whatever little respect remained for the Nobel Prize selection process.
