if the American people decide this is what they really want. Many of us are 100% opposed to changing this great nation into a failed society. If we look at Europes economies right now, and the falling currency of the euro, and British pound, we see that socialism is no where near capitalism. This porkulus bill will most likely fail, and many American's will be angry over this, and hopefully the ones looking for freebies, who won't receive anything or better their life. Great post.

The truth is often more hideous than any "theory" when you start adding up all the facts and/or put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Those who want to remake this country into what they consider some utopia are willing to dismantle our nation one brick at a time. (Won't expand on what I believe "utopia means in this context). What we are seeing now are the fruits of their labor. This has been going on since I can remember.

Maybe like you I am all wrong, hope so. Hope my analyses of the situations around me are wrong.

Good point Eric, but I don't think it's what most americans want. Even the lazy ones simply because they live high on the hog by world standards. Look at other countries, the poor don't drivenew cars and have cell phones, cable TV, a computer and a nice place to live. In this country these things have become basic necessities. If you go to socialistic countries, the poor don't have these things. But I think you're right, I don't think he'll get enough done before Americans wise up and take power back.

My problem is I already think this country is as close to Utopia as you're going to get on this Earth. I think we can only go backward from where we are. The Marxist don't want Utopia, they talk about Utopia, what they want is power. They talk of noble causes but in the end it'sall about making us subservient.

I believe you are right! They took over the education system, reprogrammed a generation or two and now they take over the economy. It was just a matter of time.
