For all his talk about his principles of God, sanctity of life, and whatnot, in the end, when confronted with the question of whether or not he could support someone like Giuliani (whose principles conflict with his own), he said he would support whomever the party nominated.

So, there you have it - principles are fine and dandy, but when push comes to shove, it's all about supporting the party. Pathetic.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, is truly principled and will never make such sacrifices.

It was not Huckabee who caved, it was Brownback.
I agree, that was horrible.

I have always voted Republican, but I refuse to vote for any of the top 3 or even Fred Thompson (his voting record on immigration and free-trade sucks).

I fear that this election may be the first time I don't vote (I will vote for the local offices), or vote 3rd party.
