I cannot agree with your opening analogy and comparison at all. The only thing that remotely resembles a messianic dilemma concerning this interloper's credentials, are the similarities to his anti Christ like resemblance IMO. And there it ends.

Aside from that, Barack Obama is no democrat. He is a national socialist of the first order and a Fabian socialist in his present political incarnation and actions to achieve his goals.

Someone once said "I would rather walk into hell of my own accord and free will, than to walk into heaven following the crowd."

Obama is leading the crowd into the gates of hell and they are blinded in their belief that they are actually entering into Nirvana.
