Why Do Republicans Love Sarah Palin While I HATE her?

How can you HATE Sarah Palin? Has she done something to you? Are you a friend of the Moose? Or do you just hate people who don't agree with you? Hate is a strong word to use. You can disagree with someone's political views. That is healthy. Hating someone as vicerally as you describe usually leads to medication and long stints on the couch.

Do you hate her because she is ProLife? Me personally am ProChoice but feel Roe v. Wade should be overturned. The Supremes cannot create women's rights or write legislation.

What if the Supremes decided one day that all Sarah Palin haters are violating her civil rights and we could perform (very) later term abortions on them? Would that be okay?

Do you hate her because she is nice? That opens up a bunch of other issues, probably with your mother or perhaps potty training.

Do you hate her because she is a hunter? A mother of a child with Downs Syndrome? Why do you hate her?

To say that she interviews bad is not enough. You say she blathered back things she was told to say. Have you seen Obama off teleprompter? If not, you will be disappointed.

Sarah Palin is a wacky, narcissistic, vapid, cold woman. Anyone who touts her being a "working mom" is not paying attention to the facts. She seldom works. Even in Wasilla, she hired a city manager!

And she doesn't seem to mother much, either.

She was in the PTA when her first child was in elementary school for a year or two -- but not since. Her oldest child, a son, is 20, so her hockey mom days are long over.

Sorry, but what kind of mother leaves five children, including a baby and a five-year old to be raised by other people, including her top aide as governor?

The woman is not interested in children - only popping them out.

She is crazy in that nothing she says makes sense. She says she's gonna take care of corruption, but she's as corrupt as any small-town despot, firing people who disagree with her and putting in her cronies. She just cannot wait to get her mitts on that oil money. Truly, do you see the way her face lights up when she talks about it?

Well, I ramble on. It's just insane that McCain has made this cynical move, and that conservatives are too stubborn/myopic/narcissistic to see it. They've taken this country down for eight years, and they don't learn from their lessons.

In fact, take everything they say as the opposite. They aren't patriotic; they simply use that as a bully cudgel to get what they want. They don't want government out of the way; they want government resources and money (as Palin surely did in that town of 6,000, getting 36 million in earmaks and still leaving that town with 20 million in debt!).

But it's not cognitive dissonance that's the problem. The problem is that she is just like her fans -- superficial, greedy, unempathetic, narcissistic, and STUPID.
