If There Is a God in the Heavens

Well said

I take my hat off to you sir. You have clearly walked through social hell in defense of your faith and come out galvanized.

You are right - I know Huck's kind as well, and the "Aw, shucks - I'm just here for Jesus" schtick is a phony as the many lies you uncovered.

God willing, Mitt will eat Huck's lunch. He's the right man for the job.

Amen

So true. That's the first thing that popped in my head when Huckabbe asked his "innocent" question, apparently he forgot he spoke at the SBC 1998 conference in SLC.

When I was

at Ft Knox Kentucky, for basic training, they took us off base to a "Christian Church" for a Christmas program.

They fed us, we had a few skits, and then they had a testimony meeting and praise session with a band.

Afterwords they had a book buy area where they were selling Bibles and religeous literature.

We had our names on our uniforms but we wrote on a nametag what state we were from, since I had been living in Idaho for the previous 3 years- I wrote down Idaho.

My battle buddy from our battalion went with his company the next week and had a much different experience- his nametag said Utah.

I wish it it had been me and not him, they tore the poor kid a new one.

I never knew there was so much hate till I went east.

That Huckabee knew exactly what he was doing when he said what he said.
