Sgt. Rafael Peralta Deserves a Medal of Honor

Your article is clear and the fog is with Gates. I have followed this since I first read of Peralta. His background and his time in the Corps all indicate that he would have done something like this. The evidence on the ground is he did it. But guys removed in time and space from the scene veto it. The process had been gone through and Peralta's mother was told long ago it was being forwarded to the President with the recommendation her son should get the medal. The President should override the numb sense of Gates and award it. Or right, Congress should get involved.
