Returning Conservatism to Power

Until the public school system...

provides kids with an honest approach to the study of history; until conservative teachers don't have to keep a low profile; until instruction in basic economics and civics are a required part of the curriculum; until kids are taught to think (rather than memorize PC mantras); this isn't going to happen.

No matter how much parents try to balance what the kids heard in school (the "fact" of global warming, how humans are causing the extinction of animals), teachers are "cooler" than parents.

Kids have been indoctrinated with the agenda set by the left for their entire scholastic lives. Teachers come to the classroom with a degree in "Education," shaped by those degree programs.

Just try to become a teacher if you have a degree in mathematics, science, history, ANYTHING. If you haven't been through the indoctrination program at a "Department of Education" in college, you are at a distinct disadvantage.

Social Studies and Multiculturalism beat out Math and English every time, in the public school system.

Pamphlets

Great idea, Mr. North!
However, labeling the pamphlets "for Dummies" might be ... demeaning? How about Conservatism Basics so as not to offend anyone in this P.C. world we live in.
Education is an issue - starting in elementary (or as we used to call it, "grade") school. As long as gov't-funded schools exist, the socialist mantra will be shovel-scooped down the throats of our young. Again, getting back to the basics - respect, honor, civility, the 10 Commandments, right vs. wrong - is the key.
Thanks for a wonderful idea. Next step, rename the conservative ideology - Republican has got to go. Maybe the Freedom Party?
