Do you agree with George.

I would have said, "Obsession with perfection impedes improvement".

Pursuit of perfection is setting a goal to reach.

My dad used to tell me, "Aim high in life. If you want to get to the moon, shoot for Venus. If your goal is Mars, aim for Jupiter. You're more likely to get there if your goal is higher."

That is, almost, pursuit of perfection results in more than pursuit of the acceptable.

Just me, ya' know.
