I can only imagine how bad it is in Texas. It is a fairly new thing for us here. We've gone from hardly any illegals to over 400,000 in 5 years. I still go into Walmart occasionally, but I do try to avoid weekday evenings, I would be the only English speaker in the store.
One thing, though, while Robert Byrd was a Klansman and he is the biggest porkbarrel politician, he was opposed to the amnesty. West Virginia has the fewest illegals of any state.
