Obama Plays 'One of These Things is Not Like the Others'

This misconception was widespread during the campaign, perhaps most notably when callers told radio commentator Rush Limbaugh that he would "soon be working for a black boss." The concept sailed past most informed voters, but may well be the principle under which both Obama supporters and Obama himself continue to operate. Remember the degree of public outrage when Obama ordered the resignation of GM Chairman Rick Wagoner, a demand which was entirely and clearly outside the authority of the Presidency.
