Mr. Empty-Suit vs. The CONG!

Mr. Empty Suit ....

Good post, Skep! Welcome back, you`ve been missed! You have a point the Dims in congress are itching to roll over this guy. We may never recover in our lifetime. Sad, sorry state of affairs. Hope they are all pleased with themselves.

DawnDawn

You mean you hope we are pleased with ourselves? This is the direction this country has been going in for decades. Obama seems to be a weak character. maybe i'm wrong but it doesnt matter. The trends are the same no matter who is in charge.

Perhaps It Is for the Best.

Skep, you had a point when you said, "This is the direction this country has been going in for decades." Let the Democrats in Congress try to go so far "Left" that the country recoils in horror. At this point in time there are still people who will object because THEY DON"T GET THEIR NEWS FROM COMEDY CENTRAL OR SNL.

If it starts a rebellion, that would be a good thing. Perhaps most of the Liberals will leave the country, be imprisoned, or worse.

(In 30 years, unless this trend is turned around, a rebellion might not be possible.)

No contest

the congress will eat his lunch, and ours.

The mob has spoken. They didn't want anything to do with constitutional government. Evidence the two candidates in this cycle, who were barely different in any meaningful way. We are now willing to trade essential liberties for the promise of security.

McAmnesty, reverting to type, is being billed as the secret weapon of the Marxist revolution. The "go to guy" when the King and Queen want republicans to sign on and take the rap. Worst part is; republicans are jockeying for position to get in line.

I miss America, but most of all, I miss being proud of being an American.

As for rebellion, our cause is just, what we lack is a leader. Who speaks for constitutional government to break the chains already hanging around out necks?

No, we have lost our way and now we are going to pay a heavy price as this socialist neophyte tries to play president.

Ghost

Free government cash will short-circuit any rebellion. We're in for apathy, I'm afraid.

Sarge

How right you are. I now have to live the rest of my life with the knowledge that I voted for a meatball like John McLame to be president. Is that Democracy? Bush should have said, "Apres mio, le deluge!" in his goodbye speech.

Skep

Sadly, people who get their news from Comedy Central are better informed, in a more balanced way, than those who get their news from CNN and PMSNBC

arik

None of them are. They're all Obama voters.
