Man, I must agree with you about the motives behind modern candidates versus the attitudes of our Founding Fathers. They most certainly had the "power of the people" in mind. I am a RevWar reenactor, and, believe me, I fully understand the absolute importance of the Constitution and her Amendments. The President is not the Nation, the People are! Great Post!
