not to defend him, but a $5 tip at Ray's is really really good. It's a take-out place where their tab probably only ran about $20. So a $5 tip is fairly substantial.

And just in case you're curious? Ray's might be the best burgers I have ever had. It's all of 1/2 mile from TH HQ in Arlington.

I must disagree with your view on the tip. A $5 tip from someone like me is very very good but I've been known to do that. Those single moms bustin' their butts to make ends meet can stand a decent tip from time-to-time. I'm just Joe Hick, from the Sticks, and eating at a place like Ray's is a treat for me. The O is a big shot. He can afford to splurge a bit. Besides, reportage has it he picked up the tab for the reporters as well. Next time Leece and I are at HQ DA we'll give Ray's a shot.
