Connect the Dots: (3) ACORN

Garnet

Another smack to the chops of ACORN.Eventually,if people like you keep whacking away,we may crack that nut into the oblivion it deserves. This crap of tax dollars going to orgs like this has GOT to stop.Unless and until the funding has ended,we're stuck with them.

Good Facts

I had heard a few of the stats you outlined like Indianapolis had a 105% voter registration rate, but I had not heard of many of the others. Great job, it is amazing how these things get covered up.

I'm wondering how much

of all tis huge gaggle of money finds it's way into the pocket of our Gangster in Chief, Obama snd countless other DC government theives. We are so "had". How has this organization managed to stay largely under wraps for all these years? I thought I was pretty much keeping up with things, as an ordinary citizen, but had never heard of ACORN until this past election.

Since when do o many people need "help" with registering to vote? Its not a complicated procedure. Who's watching store? Apparently nobody. Especially given one county alone racked up 33,000 duplicate votes. INCREDIBLE!!

And just this past week, Barney Frank was slithering about pushing for more giveaways to Acorn. Why in the world are not the Republican Reps calling for his head...and Dodd's head and too many more heads to mention. The libs are churning up the investigative waters (again) for investigations of so called toture and you don't hear a word obout investigations into these crooks.

This stuff is so alarming it makes one wonder if the point of no return for reclaiming our country is already behind us. God help us.

Great work G92

Great stats as usual

When do you think facts like this will move Republ. investigative authority? You know that AG Holder will do zip with these facts. He wants to go back and indict Cheney for protecting the nation. Yipe. Drop by my newest.

Garnet92

Really good facts and great summation Garnet.

The problem with voter registration fraud is that when there is a phony person living at a made up address, ACORN now know as COI gets another person to vote as that person since phony names cannot be purged from the voter rolls once put there in some states. So what you have is several people voting as other people in several counties.

Garnet

You could shove this in Obama's face and he'd still deny it. Acorn is as corrupt as our president. Amazing how the media doesn't bother to check this out.

Garnet

OK, but they WILL get a free pass with Obama in office.

clyde, I wish I saw something coming

that would sink ACORN or at least slow them down, but I'm afraid that there isn't anything. Look for more evil-doings from them in the next 2010 and 2012 elections.

Patrick, without an independent media

who's going to publicize it? There's lots more for anyone who will take the time to search it out but you know that most of the country's voters just don't care enough to try.

Bobbie, the left has finally figured out

how to "game" the system. Like the blacks did several years ago, they've found that all they have to do to achieve political power is to vote as a block. Like the democrats in congress who are in lockstep, any political group who can direct their members to band together achieves power in their numbers.

We unfortunate conservatives have no one to rally around for the time being so we're all just stumbling around blindfolded, bunping into things and not achieving anything.

rackoons, most of what ACORN is doing

is skirting the edge of the law and when they're breaking the law who's going to prosecute? Not Obama's AG. They doing what good little liberals do when trying to take over the country - they're following the Clowart-Priven strategy - to the letter.

MJSJR, thanks. Changing the name of

ACORN International (the only one of the almost three hundred related entities to to so - so far) will do one thing for Rathke. It will give him a new start for COI to be squeaky clean while he "Cloward-Privens" his way to millions of more dollars and Alinskys a more leftward tilt to our country via the other almost 300 entities.

Eric, we all know now that we've

lost the independent media - they no longer exist and we can't depend on them to disseminate anything that would be determental towards the administration. They have become the "dependent" media, dependent on the Obama administration to prove that their support of him was not misplaced. They'll never admit that they were wrong - what spineless arseholes. Freedom of the press, my arse.

You're right, Georgetwin

A free pass is what they have and they're taking full advantage of it. I can only imagine what the get-out-the-vote activities will be like for the 2010 elections. New Black Panther Party troops in tanks at the polling places, entire grade school classes being registered to vote, and a "sign up a felon" program to register felons to vote (multiple times) - all tried and true techniques learned from Cloward-Priven.

Superb, Garnet

Thanx for taking the time and having the patience to put this together! A must read.

IMO, this is where the whole thing begins, " ... bullying social workers and loudly demanding every penny to which the law "entitled" them". Key tactic and the underpinning of this whole shake-down operation.

Off track a bit here - the SCOTUS nominee pledges "fidelity to the law." Sound familiar?

Thanx again, Garnet!

Thanx Mrs. AL

It is really disturbing to see how many groups are arrayed against us. They're well financed and are acting from the same marching orders. In other words, to some degree, they're working together as a unit to retain their power now that they've gained it. The "bad guys" are so much more united than we are - our only hope is that the unwashed masses wake up in time for the 2010 elections and THROW THE BUMS OUT!

Professor Pesky Truth!

Please, no pop quiz or exam! Extraordinary efforts on this ACORN research, Garnet! My head is spinning and the blatant corruption of ACORN and their cohorts is anger inducing!

On July 5th, Mexico had an off-year election. Everyone eligible to vote MUST have an id card with photo and thumb print. At the polls, there is a huge book containing photos, signatures and thumb prints and the photo MUST match the id card or no ballot will be given out! After voting another thumb print is required for the book next to the name and after a few days the ink washes off the thumb. After decades of crooked elections, they seem to have a grip on the process. Why can`t the USA require id cards along this simple solution?

Excellent work on this series. "Hope" your wrist is doing better! Great to see you back on the blog!

Dawn, thanks for visiting

And sorry to take so long to respond. I'll get by Cheeky Monkey in a few minutes.

What does that say about the U.S. that Mexico has a better handle on verifiable voting than we do. I believe that they also do a better job of controlling immigration (in, not out) than we do. Sounds like their voter identification procedure is logical and darn-near fool proof. Of course, we all know why our voter ID process is so poor - it's so ACORN can register Disney characters and Dallas Cowboy football players multiple times (along with the deceased and the felons still in jail) all of whom vote for democrats and add thousands of invalid votes to democrat candidates. They don't WANT any better system - it'd be harder to "game."

Garnet92

Great research. What a tangle web they have woven...

Every time I hear about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, I just see Maxine Waters babbling about how great they are and Barney Frank saying how sound they are.

I love how ACORN changed their name. Do you think anyone will notice? Give me a break!

Agree Sue, I watched that video of

Maxine and Bawney several times and there's even a link to it in the post - lying SOBs - all of 'em.

Yep, they changed the name to get under the radar but WE won't let that deter us, will we? They'll escape some publicity 'cause so many of the population just doesn't follow that kind of thing - and the state-owned-media certainly won't mention it. But I think now that they have been fully exposed, it's going to be hard for them to stay behind the scenes. Glen Beck is also hot on their trail.

Garnet,

Terrific Part 3. No let down from the first 2 parts. I admire your perseverence and abilities to pull this behemouth together.

There is a little ray of sunshine on the horizon. There's a report on the Hill [House?] that calls ACORN a criminal organization and demands a criminal investigation into it. It is bi-partisan, so maybe there's some hope.

MD/MG thanks for reading all three!

I think I've got one more in me (at least for now). It'll cover the SEIU, The Shadow Party and a few others.

Boy, I'll believe it when I see it - that is, any investigation of ACORN. Or, maybe they'll wait until Wade Rathke completes renaming the ACORN-named operations so that condemnation of "ACORN" will become moot if it is (by then), an obsolete entity.

Looking forward

to the next one. I admire your tenacity/stamina.

Fox News and Glenn Beck, of course, have jumped on this. The report has found 360+ organizations under the umbrella of ACORN. They are also going to check into the firing of Walpin and the org. he was looking into when he was fired. I can't remember the name Americorps???? Not enough coffee yet to get the brain cells fired.

Glenn Beck was footnoted in the report. You may find some links at his website.

Kudos and thanks, Garnet92.

A plethora of dots and connections made clear. These columns are in toto a masters degree in liberal-fascist statism. My hat's off to the prof.

Excellent Paper!

Detailed, to the point of nitty-gritty, clairfied to the point of simplicity and although long, certainly packed with an abundance of facts to back up the thesis and seed for further investigation.

Good Job. Sorry I'm so late in reading.

MD/MG, thanks for the lead

I do listen (and sometimes watch) Glenn and I'm glad that someone with some organization behind him is investigating.

Walpin deserves some looking into as well - he really got shafted by D'ohbama.

Yeah, that ACORN organization is like a tenement kitchen - shine a little light on them and hundreds of little roach groups scurry about.

Thanks for visiting, drpete

You are too kind. I can't imagine how long it would have taken to gather all of the information before the Internet - remember the library? Of course, a large portion of the data available on the net is crap - opinions, etc.

What will probably be the last of this series is in the works so I hope you'll read it as well.

I'll drop by Gumballs later today or tomorrow.

Thanks again.

Thanks Adjuster

I'm trying. I just wish there were a way to get the information that we at TH are developing out so that more folks could see it. Not just my blog but many, many others here on TH that have something to say - like your "Wrong Argument" post - it was worthwhile reading.

Thanks for dropping by.

Garnet92

I heard something the other day about our friends at ACORN, are they in that idiotic health care bill? I am not sure which one, the House version?

Hi Sue, I do have some info on that

Of course, they'll never mention ACORN by name, but there are (at least) four spots that allude to NGO (Non Governmental Organization) groups like community-based organizations that fit the ACORN model to a tee. So, while the dems would deny that there are any funds directed to our nutty friends, there are places where ACORN fits nicely: P.65, P.95, P.321, and P.472 of the House bill. It is available online as a PDF.

Garnet, hours well spent

That is the only way to describe my time invested in reading your Connect the Dots series.
Your efforts provide one of the most comprehensive, yet easily followable, works that I have read on the sewer maze of money and power brokers leading to and from Obama.
Thanks for breaking it down so even this old man can grasp the enormity of the breast at our Nation's throat.

Thanks Saltwater, from one geezer to

another, I'm honored that you've suffered through the series. The disturbing thing is that most of our population doesn't have a clue about ACORN's shenanigans or their evil intentions. Somehow, we need to expose them to the light of day so more voters will recognize them and their enablers (like Obama) and stop them.

No suffering involved, Garnet,

I truly consider the reading time required as an investment. Unlike Madoff, you have the goods to back it up.

Darned fat fingers struck again - that first comment should be the BEAST not breast at our Nation's throat.
