Understanding v. Appeasement

The stated aim of the Islamic Jihad is the destruction of western civilization. No matter what they may call their organization, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Black September or the PLO, the aim is the same, they have never kept that a secret. It does seem a lot of people either ignore the stated goals of radical Islam or are just not educating themselves on the facts and trying to take the so called moral high road. In this case the moral high road will lead to our defeat and destruction. We have been at war with the Islamic movement since Mohamed. The difference between now and a thousand years ago is WMD, from airlines flying into sky scrapers, chemical and nuclear weapons. I don't believe it is prudent to believe the lies coming out of the middle east, in particular Iran, that they are not trying to build a nuclear weapon. If we wait and try appeasement we do so at our peril. Part of the Jihads path to their victory is the weapon of deception to give them time to destroy their enemies. This does not need more discussion, what is needed is a realization that there is only one way to victory in this war against our destruction and that is cold hard steel used without prejudice and without restraint.
