Let's Blame Bush

As long as we can blame something -- anything -- on somebody else, we can sue them.

As you said, grownups "realize that sometimes bad things happen and there is no one to blame. The operative word here is "grownups." Do all Americans grow up, or do they simply grow old (with great resentment)?

We're known as the most litigious society in the world. It's not known if this is true, but it would not be surprising.

It does not appear that we are becoming less litigious.
