No Cash for Your Clunker

Clunker Rebates
I wonder if I could get a refund or some cash for thing other than cars?
How about a tax credit for two wasted years in Viet Nam at the behest of some drunken parasite called LBJ, or El B.J.?
How about some ticket refunds for NOT riding Amtrak? That saved me and the taxpayer a lot of money.
How about a medical care preemptive credits for skin and lung care because the government did not discover Global Warming soon enough?
How about a California Tolerance Rebate for living in the Not-so-Golden State for 26 years?
I can think of a lot of rebates that I deserve and could come in the form of tax credits or, if I have to, freshly printed Phony Dollars from the Fed and signed by Little Timmy.
I promise to vote for more Democrat clunkers if I get some rebates. The exact size of my tax credit should be my current year's tax liability in each year.

This is stupid
Who can make sense of this? Instead of Cash for a Clunker. They should have just eliminated some ADL mark ups and sales tax on the vehicles and given them more money for their trade in.
The government shouldn't have gave these companies our money anyway. If something is going out of business, just let them go.
They didn't save Hires Root Beer did they???!!!
No!

Wanna scream but .... Free cars! Free cars! Heard on Fox yesterday, people were trading in clunkers to buy Lexus(es)! And why not, Sue? So many people are light in the head over "giveaways", they may not realize they still have to make payments on their "free" cars! Now! Where is that pesky car czar?

Just one more example
Like I heard one dealer say, if they can't manage a $1 billion dollar program like this, I'm not so sure I trust them with running my healthcare. Truer words were never spoken. Look at AMTRAK, the Post Office, Medicare, can anyone show me just one example of these inept idiots in DC being able to efficiently run anything?

My rebate request
I want a rebate (of any size) for DiFi and Boxer. I want to trade them in on a new model which gets more MPL (Miles Per Lie) and has an espreesso maker in the backseat, so I don't have to stop at Tarpucks for coffee ever again.
And if I need to PAY the rebate instead, I'm up for that too.

I would like a rebate on all the years that I paid car insurance and never had an accident. I also want a rebate on all the medical insurance I paid into and never used. Do I hear any takers?
Yes, I am with you on the golden state. I think the wonderful golden gates are rusty and need of repair, but the wallet is empty.

Don't you just love how this is such a great program? Oh please. The $1 billion dollars they gave for this in the stimulus package is our tax dollar anyway, so we are giving ourselves a rebate. Thank you and good night!

So true. You can't run this program, but healthcare for all. Yeah! Don't worry about supply and demand, everyone will get quality care and yes, I have super neato bridge to sell you!
