This is great! This is an example of the "benefits" of socialism. American politicians who are not cut from socialist cloth need to use this as an example of what big govt. gets you.
I don't really expect them to. No one has the backbone to use one of our allies as an example of what goes wrong in a socialist atmosphere.
One can dream though.

The difference between Socialism and Communism is how much of your earnings that you get to keep.

There is a reason why Communist countries have to be totalitarian. Because once most or all of your money is taken from you, what is you motivation to improve.

It looks to me that England is heading down a swift road towards Communism.
