Here is another idea .Cut back on the Union Contracts.
I believe they are some of the reasons the Big3 are going under.

Yeah, that was kind of what I was getting at when I mentioned the workers doing crossword puzzles.
UAW president Ron Gettelfinger has stated that the workers will give no more concessions. He may change his mind if the big 3 go under and shut down, but who knows. Personally, I think they'll find a way to make things work. Not because of government interference but because of American ingenuity. The UAW is not going away.
