And, don't get me wrong - Rudi is not a conservative, but I don't think a conservative without Rudi's charisma and leadership skills can win.

Gotta agree with you but Guiliani's stance on gun control is unsettling. As you stated, Newt is smart, hanging back.

Hitlary victory by about 90%. Don't worry about Rudi's anti-gun thing - how else would he have gotten elected in the big apple? I don't know what he really believes, but I'm sure he wouldn't go near gun-control. On the other hand if he did, it might be the one thing that would organize your anti-government crowd into visiting a large helping of violence against this congress, so maybe it would be a good thing anyway.
