A Little (Very Little) Fun – November 2009

Mrs. AL

1. Gutless group: Supreme Court for allowing this Obama snowball to start rolling when they said those retirees invested in Chrysler had to take 19 cents on the dollar. Once they kowtowed, Obama realized he could pretty much do anything.

2. Influenced thinking: I'm a narcissist, so I influenced my own thinking. I just go with my judgment.

3. Cloning: I'm going to go the other way on this one. I'm going to say Pelosi. If there were more of her, more would listen to her whacko views. That could only help the opposition. Here's something to keep in mind, don't try to kill someone that's committing suicide.

4. Fav color: Brown. My g/f has the biggest, sweetest brown eyes. That makes brown my favorite color.

5. Risk life and limb: For some reason I had this thing in my head, since I'm a certifiable whackjob. If a man slept with Paris Hilton, he'd be risking life and limb, but not the arms or legs. I think if any man had his "limb" in her, once he exited it would probably look like a cigarette that has been burning too long without someone flicking off the ash. Damn, I'm disturbed. Particularly since I showed such a soft side with my previous comment.

6. Muslim military: Why would a psychiatrist enlist in the military is the better question. Even better yet, why would the army let someone who had mental problems stay on as a psychiatrist? The questions go on and on for this one.

Disturbed v. Soft Side of Jesse

You do exhibit multiple dimensions to your personality here, Jesse. And that's why you are so appreciated!

Here goes;

1. I nominate Newt Gingrich, Michael Steel and the rest of the "republicans" who lacked the guts to buck the party and stand for conservative principals in the NY23 district Special Election as The Gutless Wonders of 2009.
2. I'm very influenced by the left leaners in DC. They keep me straight. All I have to do is watch them and I know what NOT to do,say or think.
3. I would like to clone Sarah Palin and replace Nancy Pelosi with Ms. Palin who has guts, common sense, speaks the truth and whose face is not plasticized with Botox.
4. My favorite color is all of them. Especially displayed in a bouquet of flowers or a rainbow.
5. Legally speaking, Risking Life or Limb is not interpreted literally. It refers to the aspect of Double Jeopardy. Otherwise it may refer to taking dangerous and unnecessary risks that may cost one their life and/or limbs.
5. Why a muslim would sign up for our military depends entirely upon the Muslim involved. I think it would behoove our military to exercize extreme caution, given the fact that we are at war with islamic extremists and put our own troops at potential risk of life & limb, before mixing Muslims in with our troops. Caution cannot be too extreme whether it's considered politically correct or not. Ft Hood is the saddest evidence I can think of to bolster this, my humble opinion.

Thanks for asking, Mrs. AL.

Gutless wonders? RNC.
Biggest influence in 2009 political thinking? Glenn Beck.
Whom to clone? Mike Pence.

Mrs AL

Gutless: My Colorado Senators that sit on fence. They say they want to be fiscally responsible and then vote for all that liberal spending.

Influenced Thinking: My father (although he is not with us anymore).

Clone: Reagan - The RNC needs a leader.

Muslim Military: I am sure there are many Muslims in the U.S. military that will protect this nation, first and foremost. It is a shame that a small number of fanatics can generate stereotypes for all members of a race or ethnicity.

Bobbie Opines

Great reasoning all around. Thanx for the insights. I’m still a bit fuzzy on the “life and limb” thing, but hey, I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

And Thanx for Responding, DrPete

I am a bit surprised that Glenn Beck would have influenced your political thinking.

Patrick’s POV

Fascinating that your Father would still be the person who still influences your thinking. I could easily say the same even 14 years after his death.

As an answer

1.Gutless: GM Corporation

2. Influence: John Adams

3. Cloning: Sherrif Joe Arapio[sic]

4. Colour: White, in the form of a surrender flag being held by the Obamanites, Pelosi, Reid.

5. Limb? It's possible to gently risk one's life and yet greatly risk losing a limb in the process of saving one's life.

6. Moozie: Wrong question, Why would the Army allow a Muslim to enlist, and then expect him to act divergently from his core beliefs?
As for me and mine? Alehu Yeshua!

And Gar Responds ...

Joe A. was who was on my mind when I put up the post. Does this mean great minds think alike?

Mrs. AL

1. Nominations for GUTLESS WONDER GROUP of 2009: The upper management at GM; Reason? Think what would have happened if the entire GM upper management had told O'Vomit to "Go to H*ll".

2. Who most influenced my political thinking in 2009? The Bible; with a distance second of Thomas Jefferson/John Adams.

3. Who would you clone and why? I know these men are dead; but we need them again: Ronald Reagan, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Ben Franklin.

4. What is your favorite color today and why? Blue, because, "They took the blue from the skies and a pretty girl's eyes and a touch of Old Glory too. And gave it to the men who wear the US Air Force blue."

5. Can someone tell me what sense the phrase “risk life and limb” makes? Perhaps the "and" should read: "and/or"?

6. And say, since I am wondering about things … can someone enlighten me as to why a Muslim would enlist in the U.S. military given our engagements in the Middle East? Easy! They are spies and saboteurs!

Mrs. AL (Always Learning)

Agree with Jesse. The SCOTUS is first. They dodged the hard questions about Barry Soetoro from day one.

A Little (Very Little) Fun

1. Rinos, they want to be respected for having principles without actually having any.

2. Barack Obama, let's give credit where credit is due! He has made me realize just how much I despise the Marxist in this country and how evil, conniving, vicious and immoral they truly are.

3. Aaron Shock, run thousands of copies, surgically alter the clones to look like DNC members and replace them all. Espically make one with dark skin and big ears.

4. Red...Got it!

5. Tree climbing?

6. Infiltrating the infidels!

7. Right thinking people in thiscountry should make this sting! Vote them out!If they voted yes, we vote them no!

We're always happy to hear from Mrs.AT (ALWAYS Teaching)!

Hi Mrs.

Muslims that are jihadists, infiltrate communities of all types like the Quisling Norway 5th columnists did in WWII. This is a war that Obama and the leftists are just not able to face because of PC baloney. My fave color is green, calming . I suppose I look at life et al philosophically and the Judeo-Christian Western European worldview is my foundation. Yeah, I know, not PC anymore but I am 70 and do not care. Drop by my newest friend. As to cloning: like Jurassic Park, I wish we could clone Reagan. For a live person, it would have to be someone who at least economically represents Milton Friedman.

The Blue Gray Ghost

I like the “Air Force blue” poetry. I admit, I have not heard that before.

"knuckles’" POV

Seems to me the SCOTUS has been dodging hard questions for quite a few years now. They are into tampering with the legal and social system in this once great country.

Jim the Tutor

Fascinating take on who influenced you. I’ll munge on that for a bit.

FinalRac’s Take on Things

Your wisdom is what I count on and at 70, you have seem more than me. Thanx for the food for thought.

Mrs. Al

1. Gutless group. Liberal republicans, such as Scozzafava. Liberal democrats at heart screwing a chance for the conservatives to get in there.

2.Influenced mostly by Glenn Beck, who really has come out firing lately. I find out lots of information through him. To make the lefties go completely nuts is very entertaining.

3.Cloning. Doug Hoffman. He emptied the liberal republican seat and for a 3 week campaign really did very well. I would think more independent conservatives like him could gain more votes, especially with conservative leaders like Palin backing him up.

4.Favorite color- Blue-green. Color of my eyes. Seems to attract the females!

5. Never thought about that before. Maybe some people really love their limbs.

6. I still have yet to figure that one out. Maybe money or image.

Eric's Admissions, err Answers

You get an A+ for being open and honest. To admit that you still haven't figured something out is spot on. Too bad you know who in your thread could not muster the courage to do the same.
